Working with NASA Goddard, I created this original poster to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo launches, wherein humans landed on the moon for the first time in history. The astronaut was hand-painted, scanned, and incorporated into the poster's graphic design. The astronaut was inspired by a painting by the late Alan Bean—astronaut, moonwalker, and artist.
