'GEDI' is inspired by my fascination with space as the final frontier and the continual search for what is beyond our home planet. GEDI is a real mission, launched on December 4, 2018 by NASA. It will become part of the International Space Station and will measure the forests on Earth through the use of LIDAR technology—lasers that can measure the height and depth of foliage. GEDI will help us learn more about how our environment is constantly changing. This poster is an absract representation of these functions.
